EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing)
What Is EMDR?
EMDR is a scientifically supported therapy designed to help people heal from trauma and distressing life experiences. It works by guiding you through specific patterns of eye movements (or other bilateral stimulation) while you process painful memories — shifting how these memories are stored in your brain so they no longer cause overwhelming distress.
Our Approach
Client-Centered & Collaborative: You are the expert on your life; our role is to walk alongside you, offering support and guidance.
Evidence-Based Methods: We draw on modalities like CBT, DBT, EMDR, mindfulness, and strengths-based practices to tailor what works best for you.
Flexible & Accessible: All sessions are held virtually, so you can connect from anywhere comfortably and securely.
Goal-Oriented Progress: Together we’ll set meaningful goals and monitor your progress throughout our work.
“Changing the memories that form the way we see ourselves also changes the way we view others. Therefore, our relationships, job performance, what we are willing to do or are able to resist, all move in a positive direction.”
― Francine Shapiro,
Have you spent years trying to find joy and struggle due to past trauma? Have you tried EMDR? Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is a mental health treatment technique that involves moving your eyes a specific way while you process traumatic memories. EMDR's goal is to help you heal from trauma or other distressing life experiences.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
